Professional Writers Association of Canada... PWAC is a nation-wide non-profit organization, with over 600 members, that works to improve rates and working conditions for writers in Canada's magazine and newspaper industries. It is a supportive group of high quality writers with broad skills and interests. Most of us are full-time freelance writers, copywriters, and editors, operating from our homes, but offering our services to businesses, public and private sector organizations and non-profits. Others have full-time jobs and freelance part time or on the side. But, all of us are passionate about the written word and have met a specified criteria for published works as a requirement of our membership within PWAC. We have backgrounds in science, health, politics, agriculture, technology, business and marketing and have been published in a wide variety of media.	We are a diverse group of professional writers based out of Moncton, New Brunswick, but living throughout the South-Eastern New Brunswick area. The internet allows us to offer our services throughout the world, but we physically cover the following communities: Moncton * Riverview * Dieppe * Sackville * Amherst * Port Elgin * Cape Tormentine * Shediac * Bouctouche * Sussex * Petitcodiac (and points in between or beyond!)
